How to play

Your turn

  1. Place your tile. Click a green cell. Fainter cells fit with the tile turned: a click there turns it.
  2. Claim, or not. Click a pulsing ring to put a meeple on that road, city, monastery or field, or click off the tile to skip. Either ends your turn.

In New game (+), each player can be a human or a bot: random, greedy (best move right now) or Monte Carlo (tries the moves in many random games: set how many; 500 take about a third of a second, more play stronger and slower). Bots play by themselves; each player's last tile glows in their colour, the latest move's stronger. Z takes back moves to your last turn.

Hover a meeple, a ring or a feature in the list to see what it is and what it is worth. The next tile is drawn only when a turn ends. 7 meeples each; one comes back when its feature is completed and scored.

Scoring

CompletedAt game end
Road1 per tile1 per tile
City2 per tile and shield1 per tile and shield
Monastery91 + tiles around it
Field–3 per completed city

The most meeples on a feature score it; a tie scores for all tied.
